They're soliciting women (and by eye of what gay men in the fashion think is beautiful). Women like clothes to make them look skinny.

Women who model for men (like sports illustrated) tend to look like high school or college age.

My daughter at 12 was wearing childrens slim sized clothing. She couldn't even wear Jr sizes.
