Why don't you use an example of a hard working family who goes bankrupt over medical bills?
Not as sensational?
Study Links Medical Costs and Personal Bankruptcy Medical problems caused 62% of all personal bankruptcies filed in the U.S. in 2007, according to a study by Harvard researchers. And in a finding that surprised even the researchers, 78% of those filers had medical insurance at the start of their illness, including 60.3% who had private coverage, not Medicare or Medicaid.

A study done at Harvard University indicates that this is the biggest cause of bankruptcy, representing 62% of all personal bankruptcies. One of the interesting caveats of this study shows that 78% of filers had some form of health insurance, thus bucking the myth that medical bills affect only the uninsured.
Monthly expenses of $20K and a monthly income of $20K+ and she'd declaring bankruptcy ?
The woman needs someone to do a budget for her.
I could live like a queen on $20K/month income and have plenty left over.
That's $240K/year people.
From the OP link:
The monthly outgoings include $5,000 in rent, $5,000 for "housekeeping/sitting", $4,000 for a personal assistant, $1,000 for electricity, $500 for the telephone, $500 for food and $750 for laundry and dry cleaning.

No kidding... the stupid woman should have down-sized. Serves her right for her stupidity.
I saw a glimpse of Dionne Warwick on Celebrity Apprentice a couple of years ago ( I think) and she was rude, difficult to work with, and flat out refused to do a lot of the work. I was unimpressed. But, somehow, I didn't think to blame it on our current President.
So Obama is to blame for her inability to control her spending and her finances? Really reaching aren't ya?
reading comprehension....
OP never anywhere blames Obama for the singers uncontrolled spending. He cited it as an example of what happens when spending is not controlled. What happened to her as an individual will happen to us as a nation if we don't stop spending like a diva.
Perfectly reasonable post by OP, at least until posters come along to hallucinate things that were not there.
