It is really sad that the Clinton defenders on this forum are so blinded by partisanship that they have managed to create a 17 page thread without actually saying anything of substance.

The original post is very clear. Take your blinders off and answer the question. Address the allegations. Don't deflect.

It is very simple. Do the allegations against Bill Clinton have any merit. Yes or no. Explain why.

He is the topic of this discussion, not anyone else.

Are you incapable of understanding such a simple concept or are you being purposefully obtuse?

Clinton is a controversial topic - that is why I am looking for opinions and rational discussion. But some of you are just so politically blinded that you can't engage in such reasoned discourse.
Bill Clinton lied under oath. He was found guilty of perjury. He wasn't found guilty of sexual misconduct.

And that is simply why this is a troll thread.

Allegations are just allegations.

Neither you nor I can determine if allegations have merit, because we have no proof that the alleged activities occurred. The authorities went to extraordinary measures to find proof. Ken Starr was turning over every rock, calling in every witness, did everything humanly possible to find evidence and prosecute Clinton for his alleged crimes.

And Ken Starr couldn't find any evidence.

So the allegations are simply smears, and this thread is just about propagating those smears. Which I think is a troll thread any way you cut it.

Yeah? Let me post the title you gave this thread:

Should Bill Clinton have to register as a sex offender for life?

And all the repuke perverts caught lied. Problem is, we Democrats are too nice. We should've had them prosecuted. They'd have lied their asses off even more than they all did and do.

There was a guy in my town's police log with an indecent exposure charge that has to register. He was peeing behind the bsr in an alley.

Kathleen Willey:

The Final Report of the U.S. Office of the Independent Counsel report noted that "Willey gave false information to the FBI about her sexual relationship with a former boyfriend, and acknowledged having lied about it when the agents confronted her with contradictory evidence. Following Willey’s acknowledgment of the lie, the Independent Counsel agreed not to prosecute her for false statements in this regard."[3] According to Independent Counsel Robert Ray’s report, "Willey’s [Paula] Jones deposition testimony differed from her grand jury testimony on material aspects of the alleged incident."[4]
Quote:
According to a book critical of Clinton by Candice E. Jackson, Tripp told Larry King in February 1999 that Willey is "an honest person" who was "telling the truth" about having been sexually assaulted by Clinton.[5] However, Tripp's grand jury testimony differs from Willey's claims regarding inappropriate sexual advances.[6]
Quote:
Willey has a history of controversial claims including telling the FBI she was pregnant and she had a miscarriage when she did not.[7]
Quote:
On November 6, 2007, her book Target: Caught in the Crosshairs of Bill and Hillary Clinton was published by World Ahead Media. In her book, Willey claimed that on Labor Day weekend 2007, her house was burglarized, with the only thing stolen being a manuscript of her book. Willey stated that she believes individuals with ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton are responsible for the break-in. She also filed a police report.[11]
Quote:
Willey's second husband, Edward E. Willey Jr., committed suicide on November 29, 1993 — the same day that she had claimed Clinton's sexual misconduct took place. She has written in her book and also said in an in interview in 60 Minutes that she suspected that the Clintons murdered her husband just as they allegedly did to Vince Foster, another aide to the Clintons.
Kathleen Willey - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

So, let's review. Willey has repeatedly lied to law enforcement, including under oath. She thinks Bill Clinton, ex-President and nothing more than a private citizen, ordered someone to steal her manuscript in 2007. She also thinks Bill Clinton whacked her husband.

And yet the OP is just astonished that Kathleen Willey is not considered credible...

Juanita Broderick:

Quote:
In 1997, Broaddrick had filed a sworn affidavit with Paula Jones' lawyers, denying that Clinton had ever assaulted her: "During the 1992 Presidential campaign there were unfounded rumors and stories circulated that Mr. Clinton had made unwelcome sexual advances toward me in the late seventies... These allegations are untrue ...."[dead link][1] In November 1998, Broaddrick contradicted her sworn statement in an interview with Dateline NBC.[2][3]
Juanita Broaddrick - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The OP is astonished that anyone would think Juanita Broaddrick lied. Yet since she has made contradictory statements, she has indeed lied. Under oath, the OP would have us believe, but not when she was not under oath.

And what clueless idiot suggests that extramarital affairs (Flowers, Lewinsky) are offenses for which one must register as a sex offender? (well, the OP, obviously... )

All you need is a conviction and we can talk...
