But CNN is the only channel I get at the moment so it is way more apparent.
Why can't we just have impartial news though?
In general, lying has become an accceptable norm.
Being impartial and telling the truth doesn't sell, that's why leaning, fabricating and sensationalizing what was the truth is necessary. Media can lie because there is such a large segment of our population who serve as their audience that don't have the intellectual capacity to question the lies.
Ever noticed how CNN always distorts the message - why can't they just give the news straight and to the point?
Yes, ok , they are in the clutches of their pro-business pseudo-Republican paymasters, but news is news right?
Latest CNN story: 'The Chavista revolution is over!'
err like, hello - don't they realise that Maduro won and he now has 6 years in power
ok, the margin of his victory may have been reduced but so what - that doesn't mean the reign of Chavez has ended.
Did Bush lose when he beat Kerry? No
So, why can't these CNN folk just be honest for a change?
It sounds like you are really going on about pure semantics.
CNN saying the Chavez reign is over because he is dead and voting improprieties probably won him his final election. Remember exit polls had him losing and he somehow won big a 10 point swing from exit polls. He had tanks in the streets, gave little TV time to opponents.
You are saying Chavez still reigns because his right hand man won.
We don't know how this new guy will reign. Perhaps he will change course a bit.
I think that CNN makes every effort to report unbiased news. When someone claims they "always" lie it's a bit hard to believe that every story is a known fiction.
CNN? What about The Weather Channel! They are by far the worst.
