I don't think they are connected to any larger groups, or funded/trained by anyone. They seemed not to have any kind of exit plan. They had no escape money... they had to rob a store???? They almost seemed to be caught by surprise that their faces were on video. I mean how would they not know they would get picked up by surveillance camera at the freaking Boston Marathon?
Even the bombs weren't as well done as they could have been. Your typical MIT student could have done a better job.

They were not amateurs, The bombs went off and caused much carnage. They did the job.
America has Christian churches all over the nation. We are known as a Christian nation. Why do you think they attack us.. because the love us?
Because, as you say, America is a Christian nation, and because for many militant Muslims the world is not understood as it is to us as divided by nationality so much as by religion. We are not so much Americans in their eyes, as we are the power-center of Christendom.
I've been waiting for the "blame America" gang to show up. Not killing people in other countries? Name ONE country where they're NOT killing people. Just ONE.
You can't. Muslims kill each other because they're in different sects. Muslims kill others for not being Muslim etc,etc etc.
If one could remove their hate of the U.S. and self loathing one would see that the idea is to FORCE the U.S. to either become Muslim under sharia law or be eliminated then rebuilt as a Muslim nation.
If we completely pulled back into our own borders do you really think that'd stop anything? Be honest if at all possible.

I'm still playing catch up here and haven't read through all the posts yet, but from what they're discussing on the news right now, it sounds like they never gave any indication of any strong political ideology and that they were both active in sports and activities growing up, with the younger one currently in college.
The older one is married, with a baby, and wanted to be a professional boxer.
Everyone who knows them says they are shocked.
I still think it could be a couple of bored young men who just wanted to create mayhem.
Good for you. Read the Koran and get an idea of what they believe. I hear these two terrorists were great guys too.
What if they don't find the guy.. will they continue the lock down? Maybe he slipped through and is far from the area. The whole idea is for the terrorist to upset everyday life for as many people as possible.. they love it.

None of those countries are in the business of invading and destroying other countries. They don't impose on a country what they think is good for a country, such as democracy. Those countries are not killing people in other countries. None of those countries don't get involved in the politics/government of other countries. None of these countries are interested in stealing the resources of other countries. What ever problems they may have with neighboring countries they take care of themself. None of those countries go around poking the beehive.
All those countries believe - live and let live.
