Ex-rep Jim Kolbe, R, AZ thinks so. As for me, I don't think anyone, gay or straight ought to get a family re-unification visa if they came here illegally. Let them go back (and let them back into the US when their visit is over) if they want to see their families again.
Gays should be able to sponsor their partner just like a person can sponsor their spouse.
