According to the news, our city and state police are getting prepared for violence. So there is riots in Spain, and Greece, and I hear Argentina is now facing bankruptcy with over 25% inflation. Their dollar has no value and farmers are hoarding their food. Seems there is more violence in the world. What will we wake up to tomarrow here in the US? We shall see. I thought O'bama promised 'hope'?

Tomorrow the sun will rise, and there will be protests across the world. It isn't that there's more violence in the world, it's that for the first time in history we are informed of things with amazing rapidity, instead of having to wait weeks or months for the news to reach us. This article is from last year; I seriously doubt that there will be larger and more violent protests this year. Jmho. Then again, we could see Wiccans and pagans going medieval after Beltane celebrations...dancing around a Maypole to encourage fertility is, after all, such a mayhem-inducing activity.

In northern Europe, April 30 is the big deal! I think we should do this here!

If you didn't see a lot of unrest and demonstrations on April 15th I don't think there is much to fear for MayDay.
