It seems completely irrational to blame a one and a half term President for 10 million disability recipients.
A good proportion of those recipients actually are disabled (sorry) and unless the others have all rushed aboard fraudulently in the last 3 or so years, it's clearly a long term statistic, and not due solely to the actions of one man.
Here again, you are clueless. Spain reports an actual unemployment rate. The U.S. (as far as I know) has NEVER reported an actual unemployment rate. The U.S. only reports folks who are receiving unemployment, which means that a huge number of unemployed go unreported here, giving the U.S. a far better report card EVERY YEAR, and one it does not deserve because it doesn't reflect the true unemployment in the U.S.
The population is getting older as is the workforce. People are being forced to work longer with all of the financial hits they have taken and their bodies are breaking down.
Buddy of mine at work just had both knees replaced. Now he's planning on working another 5 years to help his kids with their student loan debt.
