First I think of the headquarters for most corrupt politicians, secondly the violence and murder rate, it doesn't get much better after that.

When I hear the word 'Chicago', I think of corruption, crime, murder, winter, wind chill factor, and hundreds of revenue cameras on traffic lights.

Home sweet home.
A city of neighborhoods.
My little brick house in Humboldt Park.
An awesome arts and music scene, which I'm lucky enough to be part of.
My neighborhood bar.
Fantastic friends.
Great food (My one complaint, however is I still have yet to find truly great chicken wings in this town)
The neighborhood potluck I attend every Monday.
A place where both my wife's career, and mine blossomed.
Second City Training Center (The Harvard of comedy)
Tom Skilling always getting the weather forecast wrong.
Da Blackhawks!
The Steppenwolf and The Goodman Theaters.
The bone-in filet at Rosebud Steakhouse.
Gorgeous tree-lined boulevards, and one of the finest urban park systems in the world.
Beautiful women.
Dog friendly.
16 inch softball.
The El.
The blues clubs that tourists (cyber or otherwise) know about, and the blues clubs that they don't.
Terrible winters.
Parking sucks, and so does traffic.
Neighborhood street fests in the summer.
Old Style on draft.
Malort.
Giardinera.
Co-Op Hot Sauce.
Strong opinions about what you should or shouldn't put on your hot dog.
Old Town School of Folk Music.
