I can't be the only one in this thread to recognize that the only individuals in here talking about claims of racism, accusing the family of racism and acting as if this marriage is anything but normal are the same exact people who claim that Republicans and conservatives are all racist.

McCain, Boeners and Bushes all have African or Mexican Americans in their immediate families. When you see an African American in the Kennedy Family you will know that equality is really happening. Maybe in 100 years so I'm not holding my breath on that one

This post actually made me think about my own experiences and also the (known) political leanings of most of the married WM/BW couples that I know. And to be quite honest, most (not all but most) of the White men (that I know) that are married to Black women tend to lean a bit more conservative (politically and socially). I had never really thought much about it before.
The blacks don't get it... the democrats are the racists.. Biden said Obama was clean and articulate.. ever hear a description of a white guy in those words? Dems keep saying that Republicans are racists and it sticks with most of the black community.. the democrats are lying.
John McCain's son is a very lucky guy to marry such a beautiful woman.
