Just like clueless Conservatives to characterize the First Lady's move as "losing her cool."

She took control and put that babbling idiot heckler in her place. The First Lady was in the right, took charge of the situation, and showed why she's far superior and more substantive than any anti-Obama imbecile.

First Lady Michelle Obama > Any Republican or any anti-Obama blundering idiot.

Funny how you all ignore that other politician (Chris christie for example) did the exact same thing to people who heckled him, and accept it, but once a heckler does the same to Obama and his wife at, you all consider it out of line.

Michele didn't issue a smack-down, she used the "mob" to silence someone seeking non-discriminatory protection - how ironic.

I don't have strong feelings on this one way or the other, but I find the response from the libs on this thread hilarious.
If she had heckled a Rep., we would be hearing that:
1. the Rep. was a bigot who deserved it
2. Rep. was a big bully about to beat the protestor up by getting down in their face
3. the Rep. should have given the protestor the mike.

Sounds to me as if the First Lady handled this as I would have. There can be only one speaker. The protester could take the mic, or the invited guest/speaker for whom the audience came to hear could be allowed to continue.

There is a time and place for everything. We all have causes/issues we would like to be heard on or even debated, but that was not the time or place to do so. Just because the issue is important to you doesn't mean that it must be discussed right then and there.

First Lady Heckled by Gay Rights Advocate, Threatens to Leave Event - ABC News

As usual, you take the easy route and pidgeonhole an entire segment of society over one incident.

Congrats, you're batting a thousand.

The mob?

She personally, told the heckler to stop, or come take the mic.

Michelle Obama heckled at DNC event, threatens to leave CONFRONTS Heckler FACE TO FACE - YouTube

It is rude and disrespectful to yell over someone giving a speech. The issue was handled well.

it seems that, within the last decade, this has become almost expected at any speaking event.

It's too bad people seem to forget there are such things as manners.
