He also needs to be fined for what he did that endangers others;not just fired. They would fine a employer often if he knew ; why not the employee .Too much passing the buck to employer when it a employee doing the health and safety violation .Anyone think this guy will just go get another food handling job at another fast food because nothing shows on his health certificate about this action?

I don't see how an employee licking the shells makes Taco Bell's food any worse than it already is.

I would fire the creep in a flash. Someone who even gets the idea to lick what could be the potential food of some one else - has the potential to spit in someones food - Look at the guy...would you trust this goof?

I've been asking that question for years.

When I lived in Southern California, I made sure that I always patronized one of the many, many good Mexican family-owned places rather than some processed junk like Taco Bell.

Taco Bell has been around a long time in L.A. it was cool to go to Taco bell back in the 60's. Food was a lot better.
