I know even small places like Manchester NH (about 100,000 residents) have been struggling to pay for the more than 2,100 Somalian, Sudanese, and Iraqi refugees that have been settled there, causing the school system to pay for translators for 60 different languages and the welfare system to be stretched to the max to deal with people who need transportation, jobs and massive taxpayer support (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/11/26/us...anted=all&_r=0). A Massachusetts non-profit called the International Institute of New England collects federal "bonuses" for every refugee they bring into our nation, part of which they pocket after dumping the costly refugees on taxpayers around New England.

As a nation we are already facing catastrophe with Big Government overspending and insane debt, and the incredible retirement benefits promised to all these government workers are going to make today's budget problems seems insignificant.

It would seem that Washington has dedicated itself to turn America into the land of a few ultra rich and hundreds of millions of poor, with the working poor paying for the non-working poor as well as the Big Government that couldn't have betrayed them more.

You said it right, and thank you for speaking up!!!!!! It is great to see someone who thinks logically, and knows what is going on...thank you kindly! You give me hope.

I'm going to add, in addition to their incredible retirement packages, they also do not have to use Obama Care....and are not, and I wonder why?

hmmmmmmm.......

They same people that helped your ancestors when they arrived. What's in it for the USA? The same thing that what was in it when your ancestors arrived.

If we let your ancestors in, we can let these people in. They have nowhere to go, just like your ancestors had nowhere to go, which is why they came here.
Some people and their distorted history.
They are not our problem. We should not make them our problem. Let their neighbors and Europe who is much closer take them in.
We are not the world's orphanage, welfare state, or cop.

Globalism.
We need to be knocked down some pegs and what better way to do it then take in tens of millions of poor, unskilled and uneducated immigrants.

While we decline, third world countries advance.
We normalize somewhere in the middle and all become global citizens in a global world.

All first world countries are feeling the same effects as the global agenda moves forward.

Exactly. I would go for aid to help caring for the refugees, but resettlement in America should be the last option.

The meeting is tomorrow in Geneva to decide where they are going.
We have Rice and her replacement who want them to come here so the deck is already stacked going in.

Even if we take the traditional 50% of these people, where is the infrastructure and the funding to pay for them? We can't afford to take any more out of social security to pay for people who just hit our shores.

Maybe Israel would like some free labor?

Moving these people to the US is not a good idea. Not at all.

We did it with Iraq and I'm not sure of the other countries.

So far over 80,000 Iraqi refugees have come and settled here.
The segregate themselves because they can't speak English.
Entire cities have been changed overnight.
Dearborn MI and El Cajon CA are two such examples.

The US has special refugee visas that bypass any immigration quotas.
