It no longer surprises me how stupid politicians act when it comes to the future of the country. It appears that every policy they make seems to be some hair-brained idea, not based on common sense, or what it right for the future of the country, but is based on political correctness.

Take for example this whole immigration deal. It's obvious that illegal aliens are trespassers, are not assimilating, and will likely never assimilate. What's more, it's obvious that they're unaware of current demographic realities in the southwest, and how illegal immigration has played into that, as well as how it's spreading like a plague over the entire landscape. Yet, both parties seem to pander to a group for what? Some say votes, but is it really votes? Not for the Republican Party, as only thirty percent of Hispanics, tops, will ever vote for Republicans. They are a natural socialist block of people, as researched by PEW. I can see Democrats wanting a permanent underclass to manipulate, but why would you want this when it means that you're destroying the country in the process? Even then, very few hispanics are voting, so I don't see the point of this, at least for now.

If our politicians had any common sense, they'd get tough on illegals. We'd construct a fence along the entire southern border, or in the least up the patrols so that it was virtually impossible that anyone could sneak across the border. We'd also prohibit illegals from receiving any support or assistance, in addition to preventing them from working. We'd actually follow through with sanctions on employers who hire them. Let's get real. If someone is Mexican, or looks Mexican, and can't speak English, there is over a ninety percent likelihood that the person is in the country illegally. Throw the bums out.

Illegals take jobs from Americans. They use social services and bankrupt our hospitals. They are procreating at incredible rates, so that they overwhelm our schools. Most of all, however, they are turning our country into something that is completely alien to what America looks like. Yet, we have dumb politicians acting as though they should be given amnesty, claiming that we can't deport them. Yes, we can. We can deport every single one of them, if we had the will to do so, like any country with an ounce of manliness would have. Our country is too feminized, too worried about what people might think of you. Who cares! What's most important is protecting your homeland and ensuring a future for your people, not an alien bunch who proliferate crime and are disrespecting our sovereignty.

In terms of other dumb moves from politicians, they push socialized health care, when the country doesn't have the money for such a program. What are they thinking? Where is the money going to come from? Other than printing it, which will make our money even more worthless, there isn't the funds for it. This is a recipe for economic disaster.

There's too many dumb moves, but you get the point. Can America survive with these incredibly harmful political decisions?

How about punitive measures on the people who hire the undocumented? When demand dries up, supply will decrease.

That's only one of the things we need to do. We also need to end benefits and birthright citizenship for their U.S. born children. Undocumented? Naw, illegal aliens. We also need to enforce the laws on the books not encourage them with a promise of amnesty.

Snipers at the boarder would help stop the flow after a couple 1000 realize we are serious and crossing is literally a dead end street.

Actually that has happened before. Basically what is happening now and what happened then is taking effect. That being the people have made government less of importance by their vote. They stop the stupid decision making as to its real effects on the economy and do without based on market. The energy policy and what has been achieved without one just shows that government is only a small part of what makes the US go round. Sure its slows by bad policy but like a black market in times of shortage real market demands continue.

The US should merge into a North American Federation anyway with Mexico and Canada. We should buy Greenland from the Danes as well, and become a supercontinent nation.

Politicians do what's in the best interests of thier own careers and personal ambition, never what's best for those that they claim to represent. I'm not a betting man but if I was I'd lay good money down that there's a special wing in hell just for politicians.

One can hope but in the here and now getting unelected is just about the same.

If you think politics is nuts now read a history of the Jackson administration.
