Is Rubio the Republican Party's Obama? He lied about immigration reform and is pandering to Hispanics for his own future political career, which is very similar to how Obama has run his political career.

If he is not Obama, he should be copying Obama's tactics etc....just lie to get the votes from specials interest groups like blacks, gays, asians, tell big business you love them, free markets etc...then get elected, go after the ones that are Liberal like Google, Amazon etc....tell them anything to gain power...

The Republicans just can't move forward with their current leadership and need a guy like this that can lie with a straight face, Hispanic, well educated etc....He/Republicans can attack any critics by calling them racist/anti-Hispanic etc...just like the Left has done to protect Obama.

It's not a honest way to win elections, but it worked well for Obama and the Democrats and go with what works.

You limit this thesis to just two polticians?

Pandering to groups to get elected is how just about every Politician gains and retains power.

Rubio has a functioning brain and doesn't hate America, so no he isn't the next Obama.

Who would vote for him??? He pissed off a lot of the conservative base by taking part in the whole "immigration reform" crap.

Rubio is done as a viable GOP nominee. Christie moves into front of the establishment pick consensus. Although I suspect neither man will end up being the nominee. The nominee will be to the right of Romney.

Rubio is a politician, Obama is a politician. Each is going to say what he needs to in order to get elected.

Sadly, Marco Rubio let his career be sabotaged by Chuck Schumer. And if he was that easy, maybe it's a good thing we know before 2016.
