The IRS sent 11,284 refunds worth a combined $2,164,976 to unauthorized alien workers at a second Atlanta address; 3,608 worth $2,691,448 to a third; and 2,386 worth $1,232,943 to a fourth.
At some point, the IRS will have to come clean and admit that there are some real operational problems. Otherwise, the IRS will continue to lose support among those who write checks payable to the IRS every year.
The IRS scandal and sending our tax money to illegal aliens, Obama demanding more tax revenue and people think the IRS can handle your health care.
The liberals want to reward all those who break our immigration laws, who commit felony document fraud and identity theft and who completely disregard the terms of their visas.
The liberals are essentially insisting that Americans are too lazy to work, even those who are on unemployment handouts and that we need to bring in 11 to 30 million foreigners to take all those legal jobs that Americans will not do.
Of course illegals are committing income tax fraud, just like they're not above committing felony document fraud and using stolen social security numbers -- and now the politicians want to reward them very nicely, even hand them USA citizenship. What a nice gift to lawbreakers.
They aren't. They're after the EITC welfare checks that IRS gives them. Lots of fraud and it's extremely prevalent. Illegals who have no education at all, and who cannot speak a word of English have caught on to these EITC "refund" schemes. Word spread like wildfire among the illegals on how to get their free money from the IRS --- many thousands of dollars a piece every year.

But of course the left wants to foo foo that there isn't a problem with the IRS.
HOW does the IRS explain that 23,994 people ALL LIVE AT THAT SAME ADDRESS???
why is this not being covered more
what will it take to wake folks up??
if it is not about race or a celebrity or some other bull hockey most folks do not pay attention!!
We don't know that the refunds went to illegal aliens. The IRS report does not say that. The ITIN fraud could have been by committed by home grown criminals.

I know for a fact that illegals get EITC checks. Even the most illiterate illegals have it figured out. In the case of my former neighbors, here illegally, they used a green card holder with very low income on the birth certificates of their children --- four children at last count. Then he would declare the children on his income tax return and as he had little income they got all the child tax credits and exemptions and got a very nice big check which they split three ways. Better than playing the lottery -- they got this big EITC check year after year.
There is no way that these three cooked this ploy up themselves, they weren't especially bright and none could speak or read English.
This is the Government that is going to control our HealthCare. The sheer incompetence boggles the mind.
How long are we going to ignore this stuff? How many "mis-spokes", "targeting schemes" & "transfer of wealth schemes" "accident/coincidence" will it take before people say ...... Enough.
24,000 refund checks to one address. There were 3 more similar cases in Atlanta alone. It's one of two things - calculated fraud/embezzlement or total incompetence. The IRS computers spit out my name for a 'pre-audit' about 10 years ago - my boss had mis-spelled my first name. They caught one letter off in my name, but totally missed 23,995 checks going to the wrong address? That was only in 2011 -
Sure ...... I believe that. Nothing to see here folks.
Looks like a great "spread the wealth around" plan of action.
