Let me remind you again that the first witness called him a boy in her call to 911, prior to "learning" anything from any source other than her own ears and eyes as she was watching and listening. She did not change her description AFTER the 911 call. She told the 911 operator that the boy was screaming and then "he" shot him. Listen to her 911 call tape again.
She called the yeller a 'boy' because the voice was high-pitched, so she assumed it was a youngster. Her eyes weren't part of the ID. Without knowing the voices of the two people, it's nothing but an assumption that the yeller Was a boy. Unless you 'think' like this --- high pitched voice yells, boy ends up dead, Therefore the yeller Was a boy.
Why on earth would you think of hiring me as a lawyer? I'm not a lawyer.
Btw, what has Mr. Martin said on the witness stand in this trial at this point??? I don't believe he has said a word. And UNTIL he is called as a witness and takes the witness stand, nothing he has said is "on the record" in THIS trial, which means there's nothing for the jury to consider. If no one calls the father as a witness, there will be no record in THIS trial of anything he has said. I really don't know how to explain this concept more simply. Sorry if you're not getting it.
He WILL be called by the defense when that time comes and anything he says will be compared to the police report.
I know one thing....after listening to Zimmerman's calls, I can picture someone slugging him just to shut him up. What and obnoxious voice.
Also, I've listened to both the 911 calls, and Trayvon's voice. Trayvon has a distinctive voice, not what I imagined it to be. I'd call it a toss up as to who's on the 911 tape yelling for help
The one that they make when they question people. DUH!!!!!!!!!!!! It's called a written statement and he HAS to sign it after reading it, he can't go back and say something is a lie in it AFTER he reads and signs it.
There is NO RECORD IN THIS TRIAL other than the last 3 days.
