The beady-eyed racist GZ was armed and concealing his weapon when he initiated contact with TM. TM simply minding his own business, eating Skittles, and heading home. GZ insulted TM to instigate a verbal, then physical confrontation. Knowing that was packing, GZ allowed TM to get the upper hand so that any bystanders would conclude that GZ was being attacked. TM, didn't know that he was fighting a lunatic carrying a loaded weapon, and when he found out, he fled. GZ then went in hot pursuit, eager to finally be able to real relief. He hated black people, especially young black men. Their way of dress, language, music, and impact on the neighborhood offended him on the deepest of levels. He wanted them all to go away, and deep resentment tormented and aggravated him 24/7. Finally, he had a chance to shoot one of them and feel relief. Unfortunately for tihs vile, supremely ignorant, stupid man, Eating Skittles While Black (ESWB), is not a crime in this society. While TM laid there pleading for his life, an underaged BOY still with Skittles stuck in his teeth, depraved heart GZ shot him.
GZ, once convicted, will be sent to jail for the rest of his life, one that likely will be cut short. His future is not bright. He will either be beaten senseless in prison before being killed. Or he will be wrongly acquitted, and face a life of fear adn doubt before he he beaten senseless before being killed.
However you cut it, GZ can't win. He was entirely in the wrong, and no rationale by the racists who support him can change that reality. Racism, as exemplified by ignoramuses like GZ, has no place in this society. Justice for TM is right. This is how it will unfold.
These are the exact kind of lunatics that were kicked out of the jury pool. Thank god none of these nut jobs got through.
Killing is a last resort. Defend yourself as best you can or leave. Zimmerman did neither. He killed.
They surely don't go to to doctor. But the "beating" is Zimmerman's excuse (and ONLY excuse) for killing. And the "beating" was so insignificant that he didn't even bother seeing a doctor.
He saw the PA the day after because he wanted to be excused from work.
Keep in mind, there are some on here who have made it their mission to paint Zimmerman as a fat, overweight, ignorant slob who also is a very wise, strategic, stealthy attacker who was a martial arts expert and expert night club bouncer who just carried a loaded gun to intimidate black infants that he found walking around at night.
Just as there are some who made it a mission to paint Zimmerman as a brave and selfless Hero.

TM was 17. He too had a past. None appears to be with violence. He has proven 1 thing for sure. In some places in America a man can't even walk down the street without being harassed for no good reason.

You don't use deadly force only because you've already been beaten enough to die, you also are justified in using deadly force if you feel that the beating will lead to your death. If you are in fear for your life you are justified in using deadly force to defend yourself.
Zimmerman defended himself, according to him it was a last resort and now the state will have to prove him wrong.

Ah be fair. He was in the wrong for many things. Things that are unfortunately legal to do although ill advised. GZ may have honestly been afraid for his life. Bullies scare easy, especially when they realize the other guy doesn't sweat them.
Didn't Zimmerman in one of his statements or the re-enactment say that Trayvon attacked him right at the T, jumped out of the bushes and attacked him there? If that's the case, the significance of going left to right, and the body being found in the back yard of the woman who was testifying is that Zimmerman lied about how far he went down that pathway and where he said Trayvon attacked him.
Could be that today is the FIRST TIME anyone ever asked her that question about movement from left to right, or the direction of movement, and that could have easily have been a detail she didn't think about. PLUS there is absolutely nothing wrong with the State investigator having asked her that question yesterday or Thursday prior to trial. Witnesses are NOT usually public speakers, and in fact witnesses do sometimes remember things the more they talk about the case. That said, eye witnesses are known to be not very reliable because of memory, according to many studies which have been conducted on this topic.
She said all she did with the state was go over her prior statements. Denied they asked her the left/right question.
The prosecutor was a lucky man today. First time she was ever asked the question and the answer was a Yes, with no hesitation or thinking about it. Looks like Bernie got away with violating the principle of not asking a question unless you know the answer ?
