You being critical of people who "are no more able to defend themselves than people with 0 training", yet you blast Zimmerman for defending himself.

He was able to defend himself. Isn't that the point with "self defense"? Looks to me like he did put into practice what he's learned. He didn't fire wild like an idiot and harm innocent bystanders. He didn't miss. One shot. Done.

I am not critical of him not being able to defend himself. I am critical of him creating a situation or at least owning a big part of where he had to defend himself. There is a huge difference.

There is no "official" story. And there won't be unless Zimmerman testifies. We just have different versions from Zimmerman as to what happened. So I guess all his supporters pick and choose from each statement??
