Okay, still doesn't change the fact that if you want to stop illegals being employed, you go after the employers.

They fought just like all the others that came here for a place. Since when do countries give themselves away? To disadvantage American workers in kitchens or factories or any other place of employment is treason. This administration does everything possible to work against the people who supported him. To punish a company for not hiring the people they want...seriously? **** on Rubio and the GOP as well as the DNC. We need a new party that stands for American workers...like we used to.

The forst law they broke was our immigration law. They have an unlawful presence in this country. Employers that employ them should be penalize also.

If the illegal didn't do "A". "B" would not happen.

Exactly! But as usual the pro-illegals don't want to put any blame on the illegals themselves. As I asked, were they dragged over the border kicking and screaming and forced to work here illegally? Both the employer and the illegals themselves are equally guilty.

Yep, and why did they break that first law, to come here for a better life and work. You take away the work, you take away that desire to come to the country.

I'm not saying that we should not target illegals. But if we go after the illegals, it will not stop others from trying. They will see where others failed, and decide to take the job that his amigo had. By targeting the employers, we reduce the number of jobs that illegals are able to take. If we can get rid of the jobs that hire illegals, then the illegals will have no reason to be here. They would make more money back in Mexico than they would here because the only jobs for them are in Mexico. Presumably, they would go back home.

I am not a lib or a con. But I think solely targeting illegals is a waste of taxpayer money and inefficient. We need to target the source of this problem. We need to ask the question, "Why are illegals coming here?" Answer: because jobs here are better than Mexico/Central America. Then the solution is to make it near impossible for illegals to get a job here. When they can't get a job here, they won't come here.

It also doesn't change the fact that going after employers will stop all illegals from coming to this country and breaking the law.

So what? Motivation for breaking a law is no excuse for breaking said law.

You can't cherry pick, just because you feel sorry for them.

Doesn't matter. If they were not working, they would be stealing.

As I have also said Employers should be penalized.

An illegal knows they are illegally here. If we can limit the # of illegals that enter unlawfully we can reduce much of the problem. Also we can take steps to stop creating incentives & sanctuary cities for them to hide, reproduce and create an anchor.
