It also doesn't change the fact that going after employers will stop all illegals from coming to this country and breaking the law.
Correct.
They will still come. Some to sell drugs, traffic woman & children, have an anchor baby, kill a U.S citizen, try to change American culture, steal, & pick fights with American citizens of why they should be here & not follow our law.
Doesn't matter. If they were not working, they would be stealing.
As I have also said Employers should be penalized.
I would only add that no one has the right to a better life at the expense/harm of others. No one has a right to a better life by breaking laws. Do laws mean nothing to these defenders of illegals or the rights of our own citizens? Apparently so. Must suck to be them.
I read this morning that several Democrats backing this bill were asked about this specific item.
None of them knew. They all said "I'll have to get back with you" and we all know that means they won't bother.
An illegal knows they are illegally here. If we can limit the # of illegals that enter unlawfully we can reduce much of the problem. Also we can take steps to stop creating incentives & sanctuary cities for them to hide, reproduce and create an anchor.
There would still be employers breaking the law, you can argue till you are blue in the face but if you want to curb something you go after the source not the effect.

Then you arrest them for that reason and go after the source of that problem, but when it comes to illegals working, you have to go after the source to curb it or the source will continue to hire willing illegals.

False, if there is no work for them, it reduces the number of people that want to come here for work. You need to go after the root of the problem, people coming here to work illegally is the effect of that problem. All you want to do is pluck leaves from a tree in the attempt to kill it, but i would rather go after the roots to kill the tree.
