Sour grapes.

I'll take California any day over Mississippi, a state ruled by the Republicans which habitually ranks last or near last in general economic, social, and health yardsticks. How's that working for you?

every rule has an exception. but look at where they stand on taxes, gun control and the role of government. they are views that are vastly antithetical to the America culture.

look what the policies of the Left have done bolstered by the ranks of 3rd world collectivist voters, have you seen what they have done to that state over the last 30 years?

Middle class educated American "latinos" very often vote Republican because not all are rabidly pro-abortion and pro-unlimited government spending.

It's the illegal foreign "latinos" who were a one party people back home and made such a mess of their own countries that they can only want to abandon them for the easy life of government handouts in the USA. Ruin your own country -- and expect we will hand you ours.

really? so the worst schools in America? the highest tax rate? sky rocketing rates of poverty, debt, crime, and the worst laws that strip the law abiding people of the wealth, property, and ability to defend themselves, that is ok with you?

hey its your bed, hope you sleep well in it.

And if you say no, you are a racist, wanted to protect and denfend our nation, our heritage, and our culture.

Even if you explained it to him he would state it means otherwise. They keep claiming that it is a racial profiling law even though the law specifically disallows that. There are no "papers, please" in that law either only the obligation to provide a valid ID like a DL during lawful contact. LE could not stop anyone randomly for no reason to check for some so-called "papers".

If he thinks that it is only the teaparty members that wanted this law upheld then he isn't dealing in reality. Let's face it. Hispanics who want their illegal amigos protected from detection and deportation is what their true agenda is. They'll never admit it though. No Hispanic here legally or any other person would have anything to fear because most likely they would have a valid ID on them. It's all smoke and mirror by ethnocentric, racist Hispanics.

No, opposing illegal immigration shouldn't be anti-Latino in itself, but unfortunately the way it is usually framed and discussed is often done to appeal to fear and xenophobia.
Not familiar with what you are talking about in 1994 and how that showed hate for Latinos. Please elaborate.

Usually framed? What does that mean? Most Americans I know of who oppose illegal immigration and amnesty do so based on our laws. Fear and xenophobia? What does that mean. A xenophobe has a fear of strangers. Who is a stranger to our country? We have millions of Hispanic citizens in this country they are hardly strangers.
