The state knew of Gosnells atrocities. They failed to protect these women. I also blame the pro-life and pro-choice groups who stood idly by and didn't force the state to do something.
The pro-life people were outside his clinic praying for him to stop hurting women. They could not break in and close it. Now the government want pro-life people to stop praying in front of clinics so just who wants the Gosnells to continue hurting women?

OUt patient clinics are NOT hospitals. There are different types of regulations for clinics and hospitals. Since abortions are performed at out-patient clinics, the regulations in place are enough to make sure that the clinics are following the law. The "laws" proposed by states that are trying to circumvent roe v wade, are putting ADDED restrictions that are UNNECESSARY to the procedures (aka requiring bigger rooms, and like the bill above, requiring them to purchase unnecessary medical devices).

Gosnell chose ON his own, pressured by NO one, but by only his greed and self righteousness, that he played "God" over women who didn't know better, or was bound to a system that didn't afford them to make a better choice in doctor. HE preyed on the weak, and succeeded because the SYSTEM that was supposed to protect women against asshats like Gosnell, failed beyond comprehension.
And speaking of murders; why do you support your "God" when "he" is responsible for more deaths that any abortionist, and "HE" is the one that "created" Gosnell?

gosnell was a murderer since HE violated law, and "aborted" fetuses past the 22 week ban. He is a murderer since at 22 weeks there is a 33% chance that the fetus is viable.
