Not trying to speak for Tempest, but the whole point is that many on the right gave the occupy folks a hard time and claimed that they were just a bunch of hippie liberals who only go after conservative groups, etc. But now they're going after someone who's a liberal himself. So the question is how will people on the far right view that? They can no longer claim that it's only about liberals vs. conservatives.
Their problem really is they created a reputation of being slobs which the taxpayers have to pay to cleanup after. it shows a lack of organization and planning few want to embrace as in any leadership role as far as political movements.

It appears Rahm is acting like a conservative in their eyes.
What did Pelosi do that Occupy would have supported concerning the banks? Did she argue that the welfare for Wall Street should stop?
No.
I find it amazing how people will support someone simply because they say the right thing, not whether or not they actually do the right thing.
The "established left" simply continue to do things that were the polar opposite of what Occupy was against. This story is a perfect example of this. Rahm didn't go to Chicago and take up the positions of Occupy. He went to Chicago and took up the positions of corporations and the banks.
Blah blah blah....she endorsed them....so did many other dems......
If you don't think that was a boost for ows......sorry...
