We are assuming he pointed a garden sprayer at them because that's what they said. Seeing as the person accused is dead, it's sort of a convenient story to justify their shooting. Cops that can't tell a garden sprayer from an actual gun, or panic simply because they see a man sitting down with what looks like a gun, are not qualified to be policing anyone. This is why a man is now dead.

agreed. We have a right to expect better from those who would arrest us for the very same act. We as the people can only expect what we are willing to tolerate. It is small wonder everyday we read stories of cops doing things they would arrest a civilian for and yet they get the free pass.
