At the risk of being obnoxious, just imagine that the roles had been reversed, Trayvon had been armed, and for some reason had followed Zimmerman on that dark rainy night, first in his car, and then by foot, and then, after an altercation, shot Zimmerman to death. What do you think would have happened?
The family of the victim would move out of Chicago.
Toxicology report on Martin but nothing on Zimmerman. That's like taking blood samples from a victim of a suspected drunk driver to see if they were impaired & nothing from the driver.

You got that right! No wonder people were upset with the police department's handling of this case from the get-go.

Why did they not take a blood sample after the shooting ?
Experience the 'Shroud Of Trayvon'. I think from the looks of that.........that he was a big individual compared to Zimmerman.
It looks to be a large which is what most teens in FL wear. Did you notice that he had a sweat shirt under that? Most of us in FL wear layers when it gets cold.
She said that Zimmerman came up behind Trayvon. If that's true, I think a punch in the face was justified.
I believe her testimony about what was said.
After that, it seems like Trayvon was getting the better of Zimmerman during the struggle, but I think Zimmerman was reaching for his gun or trying to, the whole time. That would explain his lack of self-defense injuries.
Even I, as a woman would be fighting back with my arms and legs, if someone were attacking me as Trayvon supposedly did. Zimmerman testified his hands were free, and that Trayvon was crouched so low over him that there was nothing but a crevice between them. In that position, you could try to gouge your opponent in the eyes, or scratch their face. Believe me, I'd have that other person's blood under my fingernails.
Zimmerman had the right to shoot Martin as soon as he landed the first punch. There is no constitutional right to become a punching bag for some drugged up thug.
