Zimmerman was never going to testify as he wouldn't hold up.

Pure speculation.

But don't you think probably 90% or more defendants never testify ?

It's not as if it's something very unusual. Pesky old 5th Amendment.

George Zimmerman is on trial, not Trayvon.

Can you imagine a trial in which the defense's case consisted of "prosecuting" the victim, and the prosecution's role was to "defend" the victim, and the focus was on how responsible the victim was for his own death. How much sense would that make?

No, your conjecture is wrong; if he doesn't testify it's because he doesn't have to.

I agree.

Like, I wonder what are the motivations of people who have donated to Zimmerman's defense fund.

Some are his close friends and supporters as we have learned during the trial. And a few may be people who think an innocent man was railroaded into trial by political forces.

But how many others are racists, and gun rights extremists, and far-right conservatives?

The actions of Trayvon Martin are just as important to this case as the actions of George Zimmerman. This entire trial is going to determine if Trayvon Martin or George Zimmerman was actually the victim, if GZ is found not guilty he was the victim of an attack and defended himself properly in the eyes of the law.

it wasn't a "pre" judgment, he was being followed/stalked when he said that. he had a reason to think zimmerman was creepy.

BTW, did they ever try to find out where that Jewelry came from and why he had a Flat Blade screwdriver in his backpack ?

Did you know Flat Blade screwdrivers found on suspects are considered "Burglary Tools" ?
It can be used as evidence of a crime.
He had the screwdriver because the 'typical teen' carries one in their school backpack to fix their broken skateboards or bikes. Yep, I read that right here on this forum.

If Miami cops are trying to trace the jewelry, no way will we hear it was from a burglary until long after the trial.
