Oh I believe GZ was afraid for his life. I don't doubt that at all, but I have seen worse injuries after a volleyball game.
No as evidence of the cuts on GZ head and nose

It's an equal amount of time. Each side gets a set amount of time - prosecution just gets to split it up.

Heck, someone has to go last.

TM’s parents leave. I think they know MOM’s arguments and props here are very, very effective.

O'Mara's closing arguments were great. IMO, he made the case in every way possible. Let's see that Guy has to rebut and what the jury comes back with.

No idea. That's just how it goes in trial.

He wasn't on any street, he was behind the townhomes and on the dog path.

I would suspect that it is like that because the defense had the opportunity to call out lies or inconsistencies in the State's closing, now the state get's the chance to do the same with the defense. It isn't another complete closing argument, just rebuttal to any inconsistencies.

I find it amusing that BDLR nodded in agreement with MOM on more than one occasion when he was making points about the states inconsistencies.

Not sure if he was subconsciously doing that because he knows his case was lacking any substance or fact at all?

Informal poll:

When will the jury's decision come down?

Today?

I think today.

They have already decided and surely don't want to spend the weekend locked up.
