Black rappers would have more influence on crime in the hood, but preaching peace doesn't make money.
So if white people decide to eliminate poverty, black people will call them racists and refuse the help?

And how is a rap song going to give poor black people money to live like regular Americans?
How is a rap song going to give out of work black people a new job?

Are you purposely trying to be stupid?

Giving people money doesn't solve or eliminate poverty, education does.

Rappers have influence, alot of influence in fact. A rapper promoting education won't in and of itself give black people money, but could help black kids see that education isn't a white thing. Then again, it doesn't take any education to become a rapper, so it would be better to have educated role models working within the community.

poverty (definition)- the state or condition of having little or no money.

You said "Giving people money doesn't solve or eliminate poverty."

Could someone say something more stupid?

We can start with legalizing drugs; the leading contributing factor in inner city violence.

Who is the one asking for handouts? We spend more on anti poverty porgrams and safety nets now than we did 40 years ago, but the poverty rate is the same.

Please stop posting me your anti-welfare trash. Please go to another thread and fight for the (handouts) you love to handout, like the following.

Romney's Economic Plan Includes $6.6 Trillion Tax Cut For The Rich And Corporations | ThinkProgress

You are all about no welfare for the poor, and giving tax cuts to the rich (you will NEVER get me to join you.)

At least those people are producing something other than racial hate and crime. Just sayin'. Don't bite the feeding hand.

We have been over this. You are the only one with the obsession with Romney and you are the one that implied giving people money reduces poverty. I am a strong supporter of safety nets and have continuously argued in favor of social welfare programs, yet you try and demonize me since I don't agree with just handing people money.

My vote went to Gary Johnson. He was against corporate welfare, bailouts, crony capitalism, and special interests.
