Not with the injuries to Zimmerman and lack of injuries to Martin. The injuries, clearly, show who was beating who and that was Martin beating Zimmerman which makes this self defense.

In this whole drama, the jury of 6 women have been the best actors. From the President on down everyone has behaved horribly. Our current leaders are craven fools who will do anything to placate the mob. This should scare anyone and everyone no matter your ideological bent.

Hell no.

Nope. The system works. The burden of proof lies with the prosecution and they failed miserably. Protest them.

The political and media side of this case is the problem. They provide an unfair and skewed perspective on the case. They whip up public frenzy. They tell us what we should be upset about and why. I guarantee people will be injured in some of these protests today, which could have been avoided had this case not been singled out and turned into a sideshow by those trying to stoke the flames of racism. If Martin had been black, nobody would have even heard of this case.

How this has been handled by our media only serves to exacerbate racism.

When did the activist black community stop acting like an unruly mob? Ever since this whole thing started, the black community has be out calling to lynch Zimmerman. They had him guilty from day one, and they sure as hell weren't willing to let the courts decide.

They got it right, this was frontier justice (self-defense) which was exonerated by a common-law jury which is the best system society has to offer.

Cops, original prosecutor, FBI, the jury and most rational people who looked at the evidence, not what the retards on opinion news spewed and saw that while a kid was killed it was done because he was physically beating a man in fear of his life.

The bottom line, Trayvon took it from non-physical to physical encounter with assault, then he was neutralized by handgun.

Both parties have responsibility in the escalation, but once you go physical you made that choice.

They got it right, the sad thing is these people are a dying breed. The idiots that simply have no clue about anything will be making the decision in 20 years, when the courts will become full-blown kangeroo courts out for political reasons solely.

No, the prosecution had nothing. Both men were well within their rights until lil one decided to break the law by hitting somebody. CULTURE OF VIOLENCE.

You mean "their voting base".

There was no compelling evidence, that is the problem the prosecution had. All we had was Zimmerman watching Martin, which was not illegal, and Martin saw him watching him. Then we have Martin sitting on Zimmerman's chest, pounding his face in. It's not as if Zimmerman had any place to retreat to, to get away from Martin, so he shot him. End of line. All the physical evidence backs this up, anything else is simply conjecture.
