This country needs to get off it's sorry ass and take back individual liberty and constitutional protections under the bill of rights. The best thing any moderate, independent, libertarian could do is call out polarizing posts. I'm ashamed of falling into the same trap at times. I've decided to make a conscience effort to be pro-constitution and call out all of my representatives that vote to crush my rights.

Starting with the Monsanto Protection Act

You are equally as bad, as you've just called out misinformation and followed it with more misinformation. It's almost like reading a comic strip. It makes you laugh until you realize these people believe the nonsense.

Historically, yes. Republicans were a great party until the southerners got involved.

I find it odd that folks use Lincoln here as if he was against slavery.

Still no Rick sightings on his on thread? I was wondering if he ever planned to find us a present day Republican that was fighting for civil rights.

Where is the picture of David Duke? Wait, here you go...

How do Repubicans vote on Affirmative Action? How does the KKK vote? Democrat? HAHA!

Do minorites in the US vote Republican? Why not?

How many minorites in Congress are R vs. D?

I think this post must have been put here to be funny...Bravo on an awesome string!

Er, David Duke started out as a Democrat:
Electoral history of David Duke - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In 1975 and 1979 he ran for state senate as a democrat. In 1988 he ran for prez as a Democrat. Later he tried to switch to the Republican party but was repudiated and told to go back to his natural home.

Not according to Dr. Martin Luther King:

"I don't think the Republican party is a party full of the almighty God nor is the Democratic party. They both have weaknesses ... And I'm not inextricably bound to either party."

Unless, that is, you think history ended in 1964. You know, the year just prior to the one in which a Democratic President fought for, and won, the Civil Rights Act.
Didn't a Democrat Filibuster the Civil Rights Act?
