I think 1928 before the Great Depression would be a good time to live in America. Got a time machine? Ragtime, Flappers, bootleg gin, mail order machine guns, supercharged Stutz Bearcats, no NSA and a functioning Constitution, plenty of jobs for anybody that wanted one, good stuff.
Sounds like fun. The bad part is I'd have to spend time fighting the Klan and Jim Crow. But if something is worthwhile you have to fight for it. Someones always trying to take freedom away.
I liked the '60's everyone I knew was working,no Malls or Wal Mart.Yes I was only making .75 an hour and paying $15 a month for rent on a House.Family was very close.
