Just hours after a massive anti-abortion bill was signed into law by Republican Texas Gov. Rick Perry, new legislation was introduced to restrict safe abortion access in the state even further. On Thursday, Rep. Phil King (R-Weatherford) introduced HB 59, a “prohibition on abortion after detection of a fetal heartbeat.”
huh so that is what small government republicans are like eh ? Nice to see they are actually working just a shame its to the detriment of others. May they all get caught in a forest fire !

I'd rather issues like abortion and gay marriage be left to the State than Federal level.
And why shouldn't they be allowed to do this. Having a law against this or to legalize it, is still another law regardless. If the majority disagree with it, they will speak. Those that don't like it are free to leave for another State.
Really not a big deal. Much bigger issues than this.
Those in opposition will still fight against the children no doubt.
