"You seem to not understand how this is different from the same happening in one's own home. Even then, you get the kids to safety first, and then deal with the fire!"
To the great consternation of the regressives on this board, there are thousands of daycares in this country humming along just fine with employees following the rules.
Did you watch that video I posted? This was a tiny little daycare. Folks act like the teacher was at a high school and had to go to the other side of the campus or something. She looked around the corner to the kitchen to see what was going on and then did "secure" the kids, got em outside and took a headcount and then went BACK in and put out whatever fire there was. From looking at the oven it only had some smoke damage so not much of a fire if any at all. Chicken nuggets aren't exacly loaded with gasoline or any other fire starter. Much ado about a hairdo. Folks act like there was a three alarm fire in the kitchen. Hardly the case especially since they had the time to get outside take a headcount and she still went back in and prevented damage.
Actually, it is the people arguing your side of the debate who are talking as if there were a three-alarm fire and she is a great hero. You can't have it both ways.
Bottom line, she left the children she was responsible for alone when the policy she's employed under doesn't allow it.

Which is exactly what she did.
No, it's not. She left her duty station and went to put out the fire. She LEFT THE KIDS UNATTENDED!
What? It was chicken nuggets in the oven and that is why the whole fiasco of her getting fired is ridiculous to begin with. There is only one way for you apparently follow the rules, any rule, every rule and make a rule to follow those rules to top it off.

Go watch the video I posted. She looked around the corner, saw smoke, took the kids outside and they took a headcount then she went back in and took care of the thing. Left her duty station? What do you think this daycare is on a submarine or something? Oven barely even damaged as evidenced in the video that apparently none of you took the time to watch. Oh well not the first time.

Who did the youtube while the fire was going on, or is it a reenactment? You can always make yourself look good in reenactment.
I rarely watch these videos people post, not worth the time spent.
What? It was a news report. Are you afraid to watch it now? Reenactment? This aint the zimmerman thread.
