Everytime I share a meal with my kids or grandkids, I am sharing a meal with people of "a different race." When I was working, many of my meals were with people of "a different race." The people who live right across the street from me are of "a different race."

I can't even recall the last time I even recognized that aspect of the interaction. I just don't see skin color as a big issue and never have. I thank my parents for that mindset.
