Dems just as responsible? Go sell crazy somewhere else.

I highly doubt that LGBT would be booking tour groups to visit Russia regardless of what laws were in place, and especially with the latest Putin "law".

Before Obama signed off giving gays and lesbians their rightful equality, is that to say every President before him that didn't give gays and lesbians their equal rights were dictators? I recall there was a time when Obama "believed that a marriage is between a man and a woman". Do you? Now that he's saw the light and overcame his "beliefs", I guess he's a reformed commie.

Russia Anti-Gay Bill Admired By Some U.S. Conservatives

NEW YORK -- As the hub of the Soviet Union, Russia was reviled for rights abuses by many U.S. conservatives during the Cold War. Now some are voicing support and admiration as Russian authorities crack down on gay-rights activism.

The latest step drawing praise from social conservatives is a bill signed into law Sunday by President Vladimir Putin that would impose hefty fines for holding gay pride rallies or providing information about the gay community to minors.

"You admire some of the things they're doing in Russia against propaganda," said Austin Ruse, president of the U.S.-based Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute. "On the other hand, you know it would be impossible to do that here."

Ruse, whose institute is seeking accreditation at the United Nations, plans to travel to Russia this summer to meet with government officials and civic leaders.

Hate is a strong word and based on emotions. Obama doesn't affect my emotions, just my opinions.
as for Blair and Cameron "can't stand the sight of" is a better interpretation,Blair destroyed our econemy and allowed our country to become THE dumping ground of the third world and Cameron has no time for the working class, but back to Obama there seem's to me to BE hate for him from some, but would you prefer Obama or Putin?

If you are so passionate about Putin's policy towards homosexuals feel free to go to Russia and protest.

I definitely don't support what Russia has done to Jews, Muslims and now homosexuals, nor do I "respect" Putin for his decision. What I do understand it's about politics. Politics does not involve the US imposing it's own practices and beliefs on another country and determine what it believes to be right or wrong. The values and ideals of other countries do not have to be the same as those of the US.

You don't understand that you have to separate what laws countries enforce and international relations. The US does it all the time, when it's convenient. What about what happens in Asian, African and Middle East countries regarding the violation of civil rights for homosexuals and women's rights and human rights in general? Why does the US continue to give aid to countries that practices FMG, religious persecution, child labor, limitation of how many children you can have, abortion is a crime? Are you just as concerned about those countries or just Russia? Should the US tell these countries that we aren't going to play nice with them because they don't see things our way and aren't willing to change because we say so?

Of all the countries to pizz off, he has to choose Russia.

You had Russia on the road to grudging respect of your vaunted "democracy" and boy did your idiots squander that traction with their stupid vacuous decisions regarding a plethora of your freedoms and rights going up in smoke, seemingly overnight.

They're, for one, now looking at your tarnished example of democracy and saying to themselves "jeesuz, thank god we didn't buy into that; they're worse then we were!"

Have you taken just one minute of your time to compare what it is you're accusing the previous Soviet Union of to the country you're basing as your comparator? Duh.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mack, GM, AIG, BofA, Solyndra, IRS, NSA, cripes, the list is endless of corruption enabled through complicity with your government yet you cast that withering eye across the pond to another country with disdain.

Oligarchy? Really? Your current occupant of the WhiteHouse has used Executive Privilege to usurp the role of congress on more occasions than the worst of the dictators in a show of complete disconnect from any of the commonly understood and accepted norms of any democracy so as to make any dictator look positively benign by comparison. You have more internal spying and data mining going on now than the previous Soviet Union was noted for in the worst days of it's history.

Your current leader has authorized the killing of citizens of foreign countries who have not been found guilty of any crime in a world court or ANY court for that matter. At least the old Soviet Union restricted the collateral damage by using an umbrella tip to deliver the coup-de-grace up close and personal instead of a freakn' drone remotely controlled from a bunker in Utah that takes out the whole town along with the suspect.

Diplomacy?

What planet are you on, never mind what one you're from? Cripes!

Compare the two countries on a level playing field and todays U.S. of A. comes up far shorter than you might imagine if done with an unprejudicial eye. The court of world opinion is the one your leader is screwing around with and that one will be the one you eventually answer to, due solely to his pandering to constituency, arrogant, silliness.
Thank you........

Why do you have to revert back to Bush to make your argument or to justify what Obama does? And in spite of what took place between Putin and Bush, it didn't cause relations to deteriorate and I don't recall Bush lowering himself to insult Putin nor did he ever make childish statements about Putin. Maybe according to you that's because Bush was a Commie lover and every other President who worked on establishing better relations with Russia?

Who is the President today???

McCain is a senator, not a President, and does not represent the US internationally. Presidents and leaders of countries don't entertain senators regarding foreign policy.

You really don't have a clue about international relations.
Keep defending you new hero Putin! LOL!

Here's the bottom line, this coutry has never been thet perfect shining beacon, but the level of hypocrsiy that has reached a pinnacle by people that have come out of the woodwork due to the Communinst, Muslim, Socialist, Marxist, foreign born, gay black guy that became POTUS is ever apparent.

Have you have an opinion of the Congress that now has an approval rating of 7% or a majority in Congress that is ownded and operated by Wall Street? How do you feel about the Neocons and the Tea Party that all conspired to bring the nation to the brink to make the POTUS look bad? I supported Dennis Kucinich during the 2008 primaries because I wanted a true Progressive as POTUS...who did you support? And btw...how up in arms were you when Bush/Cheney lied us into war?
Looks like your getting it but you left out puppet idiot moron. Obama is all of those things. You know if it looks like a duck, smells like a duck and quacks like a duck if it isn't a duck it's gotta be Obama.

He should have stepped down when he had the chance. Now it looks like he will be arrested and tried for Treason. So many choices so much time.

Exclusive: U.S. directs agents to cover up program used to investigate Americans

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A secretive U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration unit is funneling information from intelligence intercepts, wiretaps, informants and a massive database of telephone records to authorities across the nation to help them launch criminal investigations of Americans.
Although these cases rarely involve national security issues, documents reviewed by Reuters show that law enforcement agents have been directed to conceal how such investigations truly begin - not only from defense lawyers but also sometimes from prosecutors and judges.
The undated documents show that federal agents are trained to "recreate" the investigative trail to effectively cover up where the information originated, a practice that some experts say violates a defendant's Constitutional right to a fair trial. If defendants don't know how an investigation began, they cannot know to ask to review potential sources of exculpatory evidence - information that could reveal entrapment, mistakes or biased witnesses.
