Liberals, in their overzealous concern over bodies of water and the inhabitants therein, have managed to kill people who would have lived had they been able to use plastic bags instead of being forced at gunpoint to use reusable bags.

The "green" cloth conveyances can easily spread bacteria and cause disease, and have done exactly that with confirmed instances of E Coli infection occurring in close correlation to the beginning of the ban in San Francisco.

Keep this in mind next time a plastic bag ban is considered in your neck of the woods, and also remember it when you are tempted to vote for someone with a "D" after their name.

Liberalism kills people - shouldn't it be banned?
Wow, straight out of OZ. I am always amazed when I read nonesense such as this thread and what is even more amazing is that people will give this credit enough to discuss it as if it was a serious topic.

LOL!
You shouldn't use plastic bags for cat poop because you are just making plastic coffins for poop.

Would "pro-life" Harrier care to comment on these remarks?

Oh come on...

I just reuse paper bags. Meats STILL and ALWAYS get put into plastic (think vegetable bags) anyway. At least at the stores I shop at where clerks bag for me. It's just the bigger plastic carry out bags that have been eliminated

Everyone in Fisherman's Wharf is a tourist, so you were probably looking at a bunch of people like yourself.

Oh my! Have they heard of soap and water in San Francisco? In a startling about-face, maybe someone from Africa can go over there and teach the villagers how not to succumb to disease through a judicious application of soap or antibacterial agent.
