Some interesting results, actually some very weird ones with South Korea, Australia, Canada with a favorable rating.

Most of the middle east countries with an unfavorable rating, no surprise.

North Korea and Iran abstained.

As the current chair of the G20 and host of the organization’s upcoming Leaders’
Summit, Russia has asserted itself on the world stage. Yet, in the court of
public opinion, Russia gets a mixed verdict. In a global survey by the Pew
Research Center, a median of just 36% among publics in 38 nations express a
favorable view of Russia, compared with 39% who hold an unfavorable view, and
19% who do not offer an opinion. By contrast, the same survey found the international image of the U.S. to
be much more positive, with a median of 63% expressing a favorable view of
America.
.............................
Unfavorable views of Russia are particularly widespread in the Middle East. Clear majorities in Israel (77%), Jordan (70%), Turkey (66%), Egypt (64%) and the Palestinian territories (57%) hold a negative opinion of Russia. In Lebanon, 53% also view Russia unfavorably, although opinion varies by sect: 86% of Lebanese Sunni Muslims hold a negative opinion of Russia, compared with just 9% of Lebanese Shia Muslims.

I'm thinking Russia's low opinion in the Middle East has more to do with backing a secular country with a secular leader and Russia being a close ally of Iran's, the natural enemy of the majority Sunni Middle East. The results don't surprise me at all

The opinions of the countries like Jordan and Turkey don't surprise me but some of our allies. I guess Greece loves Russia because Germany hates them.

Learn the history of the guys! the Greeks and Russian connects a great story and Suvorov it has a big role to play. Here's an example-Russian Admiral Fyodor Ushakov,(Admiral Ushakov belongs to an absolute record: he has not lost any of the 43 battles in which he participated as a military leader. But in Greece, he distinguished himself from the other, unexpected for a military man side. Fyodor Ushakov was one of the authors of the Constitution of the State of Greece and one of the creators of the seven Ionian islands connected - the first democratic government in the modern history of Greece) the national hero of Greece. And he's not the only Russian. Your same argument here does not matter, they are not true.

More important is Russia's opinion of the world. They could care less, the Euros will dance to whatever tune they play.

Yet 63% of the countries didn't step up to join the US in "sending a statement" to Syria.

China and Russia are using trade agreements while the US uses bombs and force.
We'll see who comes out the winner in this.
