Puyallup (named after an Indian tribe) is a town of about 37,000, roughly 30 miles south of Seattle. Police are being sued over allegations that they shot video of naked female inmates, mostly DUI suspects, who were required to change into an orange jumpsuit for mug shots. Some were allowed to change in private, but the lawyer for the 12 says that attractive young females were directed to cells with cameras. Normally I might give the cops the benefit of the doubt. The cameras can protect the inmates as well as the cops. But this does sound peculiar:

What possible difference could it make whether she left her underwear on for the mug shot? Why was the officer so assiduously watching her change?
A few years ago a Puyallup cop landed in hot water when somebody took a video of him watching porn on a laptop in his patrol car.
