There are MANY groups trying the exact same thing. They are and have been trying hard to atleast decriminalize this. The far left are running the show and this is who they are.
The Left will soon be pushing for legalized "mild pedophilia" then full blown pedo. BABY STEPS PEOPLE...BABY STEPS.. It's called "nudge".
Not soon ... they've been at it for years. There has been efforts to reduce or eliminate the age of consent for decades now, while the sickos like the child rapists at NAMBLA openly declare themselves pedophiles and promote the practice, including tactics to gain the confidence of their victims, while offering advice on how to hide their activities from the authorities. Many among the psychiatric community are calling for pedophilia to be removed from the classification of a psychiatric disorder, while others in that same professional community want to eliminate the use of the term "pedophile" because ... get this ... it has become such a "negative" label, that they think the term "minor attracted person" is less prejudicial. There's even an organization run by members of the psychiatric community and others called "Be4Uact" which encourages pedophiles to come to them for counseling, while slyly informing them of what they "should not say" to their counselors so as to avoid such information being reported to authorities by law.
The reality is, there is a much larger underground movement of pedophiles than most people realize, yet it is quite well organized, and includes a significant number in positions of power .. politics, law enforcement, and the judicial.
