And knives are far easy to get a hold of. They are in every kitchen! Yet they still contribute to only 13% of murders. That's why we ban guns and not knives

Guns are a vastly more effective tool for killing people than anything else Americans use for that purpose. Think, for a moment, about how much easier it is (even with our nations woefully inadequate gun laws) to purchase a knife or even a sword than it is to get a gun in this country. How many millions of would-be murder weapons (in the form of kitchen cutlery alone) sit in unlocked, unsecured kitchen cabinets and knife-blocks in this country? And yet, even with all these dangerous instruments of death around us, Americans still use guns to commit murder twice as often as anything else combined.

Why not ban ALL murder -- no matter how it's committed? Have laws forbidding it.

And if you're going to ban guns, how about we ban drugs like meth, heroin, and pot while we're at it!!!

We can do better than that! Sounds like we need more guns. Let's turn that 66% into a solid 100%. If you know someone who can't make it to the gun shop i.e. carless, bedridden, or stuck to their lazy boys due to all the sugar that sweated out their pores from their diet of Mountain Dew and Cheetos......drive 'em on down there or pick a few "heaters" up for 'em. It's your neighborly duty and most of all, it's what 'Murica is all about! Thank you all and baby Jesus bless

Who do you suppose is going to follow gun bans or new regulations? I'm sure MS-13 is salivating at the thought of what you just suggested.

Suicide is murder. Take out the gun and knife suicide and what is the ratio?

Next, what percentage of non-suicide murders was the victim a stranger to attacker?

And finally what percentage of murder of any class was committed with an assault rifle?

Those stats aren't as fun to blabber about.

And vastly more die from obesity each year. approx more than 10 times.
Understanding Obesity

It would seem that a ban on McDonalds and Coke would be a higher priorty than any gun ban, to the tune of ten times.

But too few really know how to use them.
I say we should organize some knife handling classes.

meanwhile...
Let me google that for you

You could buy like a hundred of them and put them in a clip on your belt and throw them or lunge with them very rapidly. For self defense of course.
