That Congress decided that your auto insurance should now buy your tires, wipers, oil changes, tune-ups, and car washes for you.

What do you suppose would happen to the price of insurance?

What do you suppose would happen to the price of tires? Car washes, oil changes, and wiper blades?

BTW, this isn't about Obamacare.

This, is about using money wisely.

It's about blowing up the cost structure of an industry with useless subsidies, overhead, regulations, and whatever else the government can dream up to slow down American progress.

Even worse, let's imagine that some people didn't even have to buy insurance until they wrecked their car and they were still covered. Later they raise your premiums to pay for their loss.

Both would go up appreciably.

Back when I was a kid, my parents carried major medical that covered us if we ended up in the hospital but everything else was paid for out of pocket. Adjusted for inflation, I'm willing to bet that the total cost of medical was much cheaper.

I have to wonder if i am the only one on here that remembers doctors making house calls. When he did you paid in cash or he might take a check, and sometimes said forget it pay in what you have.....

When the feds tamper with anything there is always enormous waste. Trusting the feds for anything is a mistake. Trusting the feds with your health is insane.

You have never once held real money in your hand. Never not once. All you ever held was a debt note that is a promise you back up in time and what ever it is you do. The feds subsidize your time and you trade time for more debt notes. Any day the feds say your notes are worthless they will be, and just like that too!

maybe you use debt notes wisely...... You never held real money in your life.

LOL Sayid Linx or what ever his name is went poof evidently after I quoted him......
