I still think the Tea Party wing is more irresponsible, but this is an interesting take from conservative Josh Barro.

"The most dangerous group in Congress is moderate Republicans, many from the northeast, who could reopen the government and break extremists' grip on their caucus' agenda, but choose not to."

Where is the president? You can blame everybody else all day long but your hero said he won't negotiate. I guess your hero is blameless like usual.

No, he has been replaced by the Tea Party. Important thing to remember, though, is it isn't Obama's fault.

Whenever I see another of these goofy anti-Republican threads, I wonder who let the mangy dogs out. DU? MSNBC? Lefties R Us?

Someone is obviously challenging people to see how many nonsense threads they can start on as many forums as possible.

Clue: Nobody is paying attention to the rants and exploding liberal heads. You can stop your silliness any time now. Get a job. Do something productive. You're only making yourselves look foolish.

Yes. We can not expect the anti-American sovereign citizens of the tea party to care about the country or anything but themselves. But the failure of moderate republicans to join with moderate democrats and end this DC insanity is nothing short of pathetic. Maybe they Hastert rule made some sense in more amicable times, though I doubt it, but it clearly is getting in the way of responsible government now. Moderate Republicans need to step up and demand that Boehner let votes on important matters go to the floor even without majority majority support.
