Also, party slogans like "Strike A Resolute Blow Against The Enemy In Fond Remembrance Of The Eternal Leader" would fit them just fine.

Dang progressives and their incorrect interpretation of that pesky 14th amendment.

"To The Left You Obviously Don't Like The Way The Country Was Founded So What Nation Would You Prefer Us To Be Like."

Generally speaking we, folks on the "left" like the way the nation was founded just fine, but like anything the original contractors made a few errors in the construction like slavery for example that required some major renovation work. And like anything that is 200 years old from time to time minor and major repairs and renovations need to be made, like replacing the outhouse with indoor pluming, wiring the house for electricity, maybe even installing fiber optic cables for broadband internet for connectivity.

Apparently the Right likes living in a house with unsanitary pluming (see EPA and toxic waste), electrification (New Deal and the Tennessee Valley Authority), or living without broadband internet access(Federal funding of basic research and infrastructure spending). Come to think about, the Right or at least the latest incarnation of it not only don't like the valuable improvements to the 200 year old house, they really didn't like the house to begin with, what they really like was the first house, the Articles of Confederation, not the U.S. Constitution.

The Founding Fathers were liberals. Why do you hate the founding fathers?

You want your country back.

Go ahead and secede. But understand that you can't take your state with you. We Americans will manage to get along without you. Somehow we'll muddle through.

If you like the way the country was founded you are insane.

Only white males with property could vote, slavery was legal...

The left has constantly strived to make America better, while the right has constantly strived to keep it the same or make it worse.
