And hurt Obama how? Is he running for some election that i don't know anything about?

The ACA is the law. Get used to it. And the shutdown showed that the Republican Party sucks. Get used to that fact too.
The shutdown also showed what vindictive people the Democrats are. These people who say that government can make everything better in this country used that government to punish the American people by shutting down open-access war memorials and highway shoulders outside of Mt. Rushmore that cost little if anything to leave open. It's also the same government that specifically targeted conservative groups prior to the election. This vindictive bunch wants us to hand over to them control of one-sixth of the U.S. economy and our most personal information and the power of life or death over us? I'm sorry, but I just don't trust these people. If Obama's gone, we still have these people working for the federal government. It's a bureaucratic dictatorship.

Obama has dug himself a hole, and instead of climbing out by giving another year to sign up for Obamacare as Ted Cruz tried to get him to do, instead he seems to have brought an excavator into the hole with him.

So Cruz and the Gang could waste another year trying to defund ACA? No thank you. We voters are tired of these stupid stall tactics the Tea Party loons keep trying to play.

LOL, I'll say it again, maybe you will understand it this time. Obama should have listened instead of being a bully... "I will not negotiate".

What you are saying is that the old system, which allowed insurance companies to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions and throwing children off parent's plans at 19, was superior to the Obamacare rules.

You are also unwittingly repudiating the free market of exchanges.

As a parent whose 21 year old is now staying on my plan and who needed emergency surgery, I say, "Thank you, Obama."

What the shutdown and subsequent disastrous roll out of ACA did for the Democrats is ruin more GOP presidential hopefuls. America will never elect an attack dog for president from either party and every time conservatives think "we got em'' the attack dogs start slobbering all over it and after a few weeks the issue goes away all but the image of a slobbering attack dog.
