What are the main reasons why the U.S. is not offically a Christian nation while Israel is considered officially a Jewish state?!
This is very unfair and Anti-Christian. It seems like the UN favors one religious ethnic group over another.

USA has 80% Christians while Israel is 75% Jewish!
So I assume the USA is unofficially a Christian nation then?

U.S. has separation of church and state.

Regarding what the unofficial status of the U.S. is, yeah...okay it's unofficially a Christian nation. Whatever.

I'm going to call it unofficially a scientologist nation, but your title makes more sense.

I don't know what difference its unofficial status is.

Why does it have that? That means the government promotes secularism/atheism.
Why can't Israel have separation of church and synagogue?!

This nation was founded on Judeo-Christian principles by the founding fathers. I think it's clear God has blessed and used this land very much like the Israel of old - to be a witness to the World of Him in Jesus Christ. God's law and values have always been the foundation and strength of this nation that was once great.

Over the past 100 years really, there has been a decrease in the Christian world view and an increase in the religion of Humanism due primarily to the so-called "science" of evolution which is the primary ideology behind psychology. The result, as we see, is a well confirmed increase in all sorts of crimes increasing exponentially.

The U.S. is not a "Christian" nation anymore because it does not have Christian morales as the foundational ideology toward morality. We've embraced homosexuality, pornography, prostitution, a welfare state, etc, the list goes on and on. We are a Humanist nation. A nation that has forgot God and His ways.. Therefore it looks to be judged according to the Scripture.

Israel is different than the U.S. because God has declared a parcel of land on this planet as His .. Given to whom He wills to have it.

There is no accident that the ENTIRE WORLD is divided over one tiny little bit of land -Jerulalem - a rocky little area with little wealth or natural resources. God has declared His King Jesus to sit on His throne in Jerusalem and it shall come to pass in due time. All of the fighting over this land is exactly what the Bible says it is, a Physical manifestation of an underlying Spiritual reality and war.

So long story short, do not try to take away Jerusalem from Jesus Christ because that is not about to happen anytime in eternity. God has declared it as His. Best just respect that.

Maybe Israel don't want that. It's not the U.N. s decision to make ..right?

Because the United States fought a war for independence and won it. Israel was arbitrarily carved out of Palestine and parts of territory claimed by Jordan, Lebanon. Syria, and Egypt by the brand new United Nations at the time when the European empires, particularly the British, was crumbling after WWII.

Israel was specifically created to be a homeland for the Jews. The Jews did not have a homeland after the Romans drove all Jews out of what become known as Palestine for over 1000 years. After the Holocaust, there was great sentiment that the Jewish survivors should have a homeland of their own once more.

And that's why Israel is so Jewish.

No religion was allowed nor forbidden to come to the U.S. by our own legal decree as part of our constitution. That's why the Jews immigrated here in such numbers. The United States was one of very few countries in the world that guaranteed they had the same rights as all others.

American Jews added much influence to the U.N declaration. There has always been more Jewish people in the U.S. than in any other country from the turn of 20th century onward. Their immigration began almost as soon as Europeans arrived here for the first time.

Because Israel isn't covered by the US constitution? Come on, think a little before posting.
