I'm puzzled as to why 2nd A advocates have not come to the defense of young Andy Lopez' right to carry his weapon in public?
An even better question: why didn't more right-to-carry advocates point to Trayvon Martin as an example of someone who might not have died had he been armed?

Maybe because Right-to-Carry advocates don't advocate attacking people. Just a guess.
Just look on this site, the left will put every single person who gets shot in a national park, highschool, parking lot......
Yet not a thing about gang murders....just look....not even on the MSM....
Thats false! i been in other forums where its discussed. Also when topics like those are discussed it gets ignorantly out of hand.
Gangs and guns is something that not political in the sense of non gang members wanting to carry guns as law adiding citizens. Which IMO is nothing more than someone wanting to use their gun just cause.
It goes unreported but it happens the so called law abiding citizens pull out his or her gun in a light situation and something either goes down or it doesn't
the fact is CC permit gun carriers are potential criminals or people who have not been caught
This is not an open carry rights issue, being as a 13yo is not able to carry a weapon legally, outside of a range, u sjpervised by an adult. Most state lawz require an individual be 18 to carry a long gun, 21for a handgun. CA is VERY restrictive on this. The open carry issue doesn't even figure in here. OP, please do some research on firearms laws before posting such things. In your defense, I will add that firearms laws are a quagmire, and can be hard to sort through, but in this case, juveniles and firearms, tbe laws are plain, and well known to those of us in the shooting community.
