The Chisago County Republican Party in Minnesota posted this lovely meme on their Facebook page. Republicans, always keepin' it classy!

Local Republican Party Deletes Racist Slavery Meme After Nobody Laughs

My favorite line is this: We are a party that believes in Freedom for all Americans regardless of race or religion. Snicker, too funny.

and this is exactly what makes social media so dangerous and misleading. You have no way of knowing who really did this and you are depending on one of the most liberal media sources to give you the truth. Wow!!!!!!

Well, the culprit needed admin access to post it, so it had to be someone well connected to the group.

What's your point? Are you going to resort to the usual conservative talking point of "It was obviously a liberal trying to make conservatives look bad"? Why not address the actual topic of the thread?

Actually Slaver and abortion are pretty similar issues. The Government made the decision that certain people in our country had no rights, first with black people and today with babies.

With non-viable prenatal human beings, not with babies.

However, your overall point here might very well be correct.

Oh, and before pro-choicers here begin arguing that "forcing women to remain pregnant is slavery", I want to point out that unless we are talking about cases of rape here, these women had a choice as to whether or not they risked getting pregnant in the first place by deciding whether or not to have (legally) consensual sex with a fertile man (as opposed to having lesbian sex, which is quite nice in itself).

Babies are human beings. If it's not a human inside of you then what else is it? It's not a dog or a cat, it's a person. It's a life.

You appear to be strawmanning me here. Zygotes, embryos, and non-viable fetuses are alive and are human beings, but they are not babies (and Yes, this is a semantic issue here).

that is absurd. they should at least make it accurate, and compare abortion to murder, and slavery to liberalism.
