Well, if you listen to people on this site, Christie has no chance. Good thing this site is not demonstrative of the GOP as a whole.

I"m not sure he can win the nomination tough. He could very well win the presidency though depending on who the democratic nominee was. If it was Hillary against Christie, it would be a nail bitter lol

I think his likability is far better than Hillary's. In national elections, that kind of stuff counts more than one would think. Remember, most Americans aren't political junkies like people on this board.

The democrats are pretty united in Hillary running. The problem is that republicans are so divided that they can't agree on who they want. LOL you are right we are political junkies here.

We have likeability now. Do you really want to make that mistake again. I would prefer a grouch that knew something and would have a little integrity. Someone that has respect for our constitution and laws would be a welcome change too.

You didn't answer me before. You're a Paul supporter, right?

What would be awesome is if Michelle Obama ran in 2016 and selected Borat to be her VP. Then we could be ruled by them forever. What a wonderful world that would be!!!!!!!!!!

Christie is most certainly a social Conservative...

Opposes reproductive rights, has defunded Planned Parenthood and has repeatedly rejected attempts to restore state funding for family planning centers. He has vetoed money for clinics that provide health screenings for women, including mammograms and pap smears. He vetoed marriage equality.

He's certainly not fiscally Conservative with himself though...

If the majority of conservatives in the GOP couldn't stomach Mitt Romney, how are they going to embrace Chris Christie?
