"David’s Bridal employs more than 2500 people at over 300 stores in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, according to the company’s website. A memo reportedly went out Monday from the corporate offices of David’s Bridal to store managers informing them that all employees have been moved from full-time to part-time as a result of Obamacare."

David's Bridal employees moved to part-time due to Obamacare | The Daily Caller

Managers are not allowed to talk about the memo and are told to refer people to the corporate office.

So now with all of these people moved to part time, how are they supposed to afford health insurance?

40 hours changed to 30 hours by our government is part of the "great decline" to further the globalist agenda.
It's part of the great normalization of the global workforce.

It should be obvious enough by now not to call "tin foil".

By making less, the employees will be eligible for subsidies, it's DB's way of shifting HCI costs to the employee and tax payer. Was David's Bridal providing the 2500 employees HC Insurance prior to Oct 1? My guess would be no.

Younger workers are so screwed that it's not funny.
Think 30-40 years in the future.

You work and save and retire and then you have money to follow your passion.
That won't hold true for today's younger workers though.

I don't think my generation is grasping how Dem policies are inhibiting our growth in all facets of life from healthcare to housing.

Most of the non- management retail positions with this company were historically part time $9 +/- positions with a lot of turnover. David's, like most retailers, required scheduling flexibility and avoided paying OT. Management and skilled labor were and appear to continue to be full time, according to David's own website.

DBI

Comp and benefits are consistently rated poorly by employees, not uncommon with unskilled entry level work.

No they don't but nothing can be done if they prefer to be no different than anyone else. Everyone else will be poor and so will they.

Obama went to them because the young are the easiest to manipulate. They will pay the price.

Don't believe it. So far all the refrences to this story are to the Daily Caller. Frankly I am waiting for info from a source that doesn't think Twitter causes cancer and Mitt Romney used to impersonate police officers. Frankly a tabloid is not news, unless you want to keep up with bat boy.
